Tayto Park

Tayto Park is a theme park and zoo in Meath, Ireland. The park opened in November 2010 and, located just 30 minutes from Dublin city centre, it quickly became a hugely popular attraction.

Tayto Park

Amusement Technical began working with Tayto Park soon after it opened, supplying the park with our popular in-house Honeypot Bears version of the classic teacup ride. With a minimum rider height of just 90cm and even babies able to ride the Bears if held by an adult, the ride really is open to everyone.

Following this success, Tayto Park brought us in to work on two ride refurbishment projects.

Safety compliance: Zamperla Rockin’ Tug and mini Ferris wheel

Tayto Park had sourced a Rockin’ Tug ride made by Italian manufacturer Zamperla, which combines both rocking and whirling motions, as well as a miniature Ferris Wheel. Both rides had been sourced from overseas and Tayto Park needed to ensure that they met the relevant local safety and compliance laws.

Amusement Technical carried out all of the relevant tests, ensuring that visitors to Tayto Park can enjoy the Rockin’ Tug and mini Ferris Wheel safely
